Coast to Coast: Interview With Alexis Fawx

AVN caught up with performer Alexis Fawx on the set of The Preacher’s Daughter (out now from Wicked Pictures) and got a chance to find out more about this sexy blonde. But on that day Fawx was dressed down to fit her role as mother to the titular character, playing opposite director Brad Armstrong.

Being cast in a MILF role is hardly unusual for Fawx, but she’s usually playing a much more sexual character—such as her recent turn in Tanya Tate’s older/younger all-girl title Girl Fiction (Smash Pictures), in which Fawx enjoys an outdoor romp with Val Dodds and Alexa Nova.

“I actually started in my 30s so I got automatically with the MILF roles,” Fawx recalled. “My first boy/girl was MILF Soup.”

Getting her start in that venerable Bang Productions title, now in its 40th volume, was just fine with Fawx. In fact, she did a stint under contract with the Florida-based studio.

Of late Fawx has expanded her geographic horizons. “I work here in L.A. and Vegas and then I fly back to Florida, working for companies out there as well. It could be anywhere from 15 to 25 days that I’m working a month. It’s great right now, so I’m really enjoying it.”

Before she entered adult, Fawx followed various career paths. “I was in the Air Force—I did that for a while. And then I went to college. I was a paralegal—I did patents, trademarks and copyrights,” she said. “But I’m not a 9-to-5, sit-in-a-cubicle type of person—I can’t think that is a great atmosphere for people to thrive in. Some people do—some people need that structure—and some people don’t.”

In 2010 Fawx started in adult and found it suited her much better. “I’ve obviously always been a very open person sexually, and I’m comfortable with that,” she said. “I’ve always watched porn.”

According to Fawx, “I’m a lot more confident than when I started out.” After taking a brief break, she’s come back full force. “I didn’t get a chance to shoot out here in L.A. and expose myself to Vegas or L.A., really. With coming back and really coming out here, it’s been nonstop.”

Part of that nonstop action has been attending Exxxotica (next up is Exxxotica New Jersey), as well as shooting for herself. “I’m in the process of building some content for a website. I did start a Clips4Sale store. It’s a good way to start.” And creating content that she sells in her own store is like “money that you make while you’re sleeping.”

She’s also planning to attend the 2017 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, after having a positive experience there this past January. “I was there signing with 101 Modeling,” Fawx recalled. “I got to see everybody and go to the show. It was magnificent to walk down the red carpet. It was really an awesome experience. I called my mom and told her all about it. My mom was all excited.”
